Lyn Thompson the founder of Milkwood began her business career painting cards at her kitchen table! Milkwood has come a long way since then and has for the last thirteen years been publishing and distributing high quality ‘art’ greeting cards and prints to customers both nationally and internationally.

New ranges have been introduced each year, consolidating the traditional portfolio whilst introducing new, fresh designs from an ever growing band of exciting artists.

Milkwood prides itself on producing quality at affordable prices which make its products easy to promote and sell in a crowded market place. In line with most companies we are 'Planet' conscious, carefully sourcing our paper products from sustainable sources and using vegetable dyes and inks in the printing process.

2008 was a successful and profitable year for Milkwood and despite the troubles and down turn in the economy generally 2009 looks set to continue well for us as sales are up and growing. We have exciting plans for growth and development this year as the business is moving into a new unit double the size of the current one and we are busy recruiting a full complement of sales agents to give us coverage throughout the whole of the United Kingdom.
